Is Beer good for your hair

I was out on Friday night, dancing away, minding my own business when all of a sudden *splat* Covered from head to toe with BEER!  Oh my god, can you imagine….. after spending an hour straightening my hair I was covered!  Not only was my hair wet but it was sticky too!  Now i’m thinking – disaster!! But low and behold, I went into the loo to try and fix the mess and, although it had gone a bit kinky, it was actually set into position by the stickyness. Granted it didn’t smell great but it actually looked pretty good!! 

So next time you get your hair wet when your out in public, pour some beer over it and you’ll be good to go

Good hair, Bad hair

Hi All

Here’s the deal;  I have curly hair – scratch that…. Fluffy hair! – and I can’t help sometimes feeling that the universe is playing some cruel trick on me as i’m surrounded by shiny, sleek maines at work, on the tube, in the nightclubs etc. etc.  Or what really gets me down…. Other curly haired people that have been blessed with the wild, carefree sexy curls that I can only achieve with bizarre twisty roller thingys and 2 cans of hairspray, and even then they only last an hour! 

My goal is to find other poor but otherwise beautiful individuals like me to share their bad hair stories, and give the rest of us tips & advice on hair care products, managable hair cuts & straighteners that have actually worked for you.
